Forty-seventh Saturday

Leaves mass under trees.

As sun rises, no wind yet:

Lawns and walks still clear.

River shimmers pink.

Restless surface reflects clouds,

Motionless above.

Flock of geese heads south.

Two long lines of wings in sync,

Black against blue sky.
